The first step to finding your happy place is to get outside and explore. The more you explore, the more you learn about your neighborhood, and also the more you learn about potential smoking areas. Try to find places where people generally aren't. These tend to be quiet places where you can not only relax, but also enjoy your cigar in peace.

After you have discovered some spots that you think are pretty calm, spend some extra time there once or twice a week, just to make sure no one surprises you with their presence when you're trying to relax. If you are seeing that people actually walk through this area a lot, then find a new area.

Now that you have an area to smoke, start enjoying your cigar. It's probably a good idea to pay attention to your surroundings while doing this. If you notice that there are leaves around you, or anything else dry and flammable, you will want to take extra precautions with your cigar.

If you're enjoying yourself at your new private cigar smoking spot, consider telling a few friends about it. Bring some chairs and make it an event. Smoking cigars outdoors is about as manly as it gets. Just don't let the wind bother you.

If you'd rather smoke indoors, then you need to find yourself a cigar club, smokeshop, or lounge. With the internet, it's easy to find such things in your local area. Just do a quick search on your favorite search engine and see what comes up.

Most clubs and lounges force a fee upon you. However, there are also about as many that do not require the fee. Instead of a fee, some shops expect you to buy a cigar in order to use the lounge. Just like smoking outside, if you're enjoying yourself, bring some friends.

If a lounge or bar isn't for you, and you feel like you need more privacy, then you should build a little lounge in your backyard. You could also smoke in your house, if you're feeling crazy. If you do smoke in your house, buy an air filter. Most smoke damage is permanent and can only be masked with scents that aren't too appeasing.

Most bars and restaurants don't allow people to smoke indoors anymore, thanks to smoking bans throughout the U.S. You shouldn't walk into one of those establishments expecting to be able to smoke a cigar. That's where your new found smoking happy places come into play. Now go find yours.
